The traditional qipao is re-invented as a workwear staple with our ‘Lady Chang’e’ dress, inspired by the Chinese goddess of the moon. She represents the moon and femininity with her eternal light.
This dress takes the hallmark design elements of a 1920s qipao with a sleeveless design for added versatility, allowing you to style it with a blazer or wear solo. We’ve evolved the figure-hugging silhouette to fit the needs of the modern woman with a high collar, pleating, and a statement zipper pull.
Our ‘Lady Chang’e’ dress features a subtle embroidery design that adds a feminine touch to the understated qipao silhouette. The best part of our ‘Lady Chang’e’ dress? The pockets! Style with ballet flats for a casual look or elevate it with our ‘Derling’ embroidered jacket.
