The ‘Shouning’ dress coat is named after Princess Shouning (寿宁公主) of the Ming dynasty (circa 1500s), the favourite daughter of the Wanli Emperor. This coat takes its inspiration from the classic silhouette of 1950s dress and the height of European glamour.
